Kari Kukkola

Facilitator and Trainer

Introduction

Kari is a social psychologist with a Master’s degree in Social Sciences and a workplace mediator. Since 2009, he has trained leaders in change management, strategic management and facilitation skills. He also advises organisations on implementing change, developing strategy, making sense of complex situations and managing conflict.

Kari developed Grape People’s mediation process for conflict situations. He has successfully helped many colleagues, teams and workplaces resolve conflicts and longstanding disagreements. He also has extensive experience in the construction industry, working with various organisations to develop Big Room collaboration and teach facilitation skills for alliance projects.

“The best moments in my work are when a connection forms between people during a training session or workshop. It may happen between me and a participant, or between participants. What makes it exciting is that you never know beforehand which moment or approach will create that connection. It simply happens in the moment.”

Participants appreciate Kari’s people-centred approach to leading workshops and teaching facilitation skills, both in person and online.
