Associate Certified Facilitator

Who is this certification program for?

The Associate Certified Facilitator  Program is for everyone who wants to facilitate productive meetings, workshops and group events. For beginning facilitators the program gives a simple structure and tools how to get started. For advanced facilitators the training is an eye opener that introduces a different, new and effective way for choosing tools and designing workshops.

Training Program Structure

The training consists of four modules

1. First module is a 4 x 3,5 hour training focusing on principles of effective group decision making. You learn to facilitate a workshop that brings clear decisions and concrete actions.

2. The second module introduces the best professional facilitation tools through our online video course. You get to learn at you own pace and rewatch the videos as much as needed.

3. During the third module you get to put your practice to the test. Facilitate five or more workshops. You have access to our chat where you cans ask direct question from our facilitator. They will help you with any questions you might have concerning your workshop.

4. The final four online training session module is the facilitator certification, which is an interactive learning event. Participants plan and execute their workshops and receive feedback from both the other participant and the trainers. In the very end, if the participants meet the certification criteria, they receive a certificate of facilitation competence - a proof that the participants can plan and facilitate a workshop.

At the conclusion of the module, those who meet the certification criteria will be awarded a Certificate of Facilitation Competence—a testament to their ability to successfully design and lead impactful workshops.

Pepe Nummi

Pepe has worked as a facilitator since 1998 and served as the inaugural chairman of the Finnish Association of Facilitators. Pepe is the developer of the Idealogue method and is the author of The Handbook on Facilitation, The Handbook of Virtual Facilitation, and Beyond Brainstorming Idealogue. Over the course of his long career, he has trained over 15,000 people in more than 20 different countries.
